Jason Witenstein-Weaver is a creative product design leader living and working in Seattle

Imagination inspires life.

I’ve been designing products and leading teams for over two decades, in a variety of verticals, from big tech to small startups. In that time, I’ve developed the point of view that creating delight for people comes from telling them a good story.

While design needs to be functional, it more importantly, needs to be purposeful, pleasing, and, at its best, remarkable. That’s how I connect people and purpose to technology.

This site contains a few thoughts and explorations that were meaningful to me and hopefully give you a sense of what I’m about. If you’re interested in full use cases, end to end strategy, methodologies, research, ops, impact, team scaling, and multidisciplinary leadership then you’re probably looking to talk more about an opportunity for us to work together.

My CliftonStrengths™

CliftonStrengths is a tool developed from the theories of psychologist Donald Clifton, who is often referred to as the "father of strengths-based psychology."

1. Adaptability

Prefers to go with the flow. Tends to be “now” person who takes things as they come and discovers the future one day at a time.

2. Strategic

Creates alternative ways to proceed. Faced with any given scenario, can quickly spot the relevant patterns and issues.

3. Maximizer

Focuses on strengths as a way to stimulate personal and group excellence. Seeks to transform something strong into something superb.

4. Learner

Has a great desire to learn and wants to continuously improve. The process of learning, rather than the outcome, is exciting.

5. Intellection

Characterized by intellectual activity. Introspective and appreciates intellectual discussions.

Below are some sharable moments from when I was loving what I do. In these moments, understanding, imagination, and innovation came together to produce real-world results.
